I grew up in Rockport, MA, so this was a great gift that my mother gave us for our wedding (I admit, I did suggest it as a possible gift).
Our lobster trap came from Howard’s Flying Dragon Antiques in Essex. They don’t appear to have a web site of their own, so I can’t link to them 
My personal opinion is that it should be a wooden lobster trap (which are not being produced for commercial use anymore), and not a wire trap. And, notice, our lobster trap came with buoys!!
