Why “obligatory”?

Well, every gift blog out there will be writing about Father’s Day at some point. So, in some sense it feels like this post is more of a “follower” post than a unique, “leader” post (and I’d like to think that most of our gift ideas are unique enough that they fall into the “leader” category).
