Give the Gift of Memories

It’s a wonderful world these days where it is now sooooo easy to organize your photos and publish your own photo book full of memories.

Giving a custom-made, personalized photo book is a fantastic gift, and practically guaranteed to WOW!! the recipient.

Unless, you don’t take great pictures, or if slap something together as quickly as possible, or the person receiving the photo book doesn’t like the memories you are presenting….

There are so many occasions that fit this kind of present – anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, thank-you’s, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day (maybe), and even just-because.

Most people already have their own personal favorite photo-sharing website, but here’s a quick list just in case you don’t have a favorite yet:

PhotoWorks
Shutterfly
Snapfish
Blurb
Vistaprint
MyPublisher

Have fun creating your photo book, and get ready for the crazy amount of praise you are going to get!

For a twist on giving the gift of photo memories, you might look at creating an online video out of your pics:

Animoto.com

(Oh, and Mother’s Day is coming up soon enough, so put this idea on your list.)

Very nice – and useful site for unique gifts and gift ideas.

I noticed you mention Animoto here. Another great use of Animoto is obviously for business or a variety of organizations. I work with a non-profit group that is working to Save Boston Harbor. Here is a link to a project I just completed at Animoto for Save the Harbor / Save the Bay – http://savetheharbor.org/waterpower/.

Thanks for the comment! Because I know you personally, and because I know that the Save the Harbor is a legitimate charitable organization, with a great cause, I took the liberty of adding links to your comment.

Hopefully, anyone else reading this will not attempt to contribute to comment spam (it will never be approved and will be reported as such).
