Help Them Keep Time With Style

Posted by giftguy, May 17th, 2009

I have to say – this is one of my favorite gift ideas so far.  Favorite primarily because this company, Miniclock.com, has an incredible selection of small, miniature clocks!

Because it is time-consuming to add images and links into a blog post, I cannot do Miniclocks.com justice with the few mini clocks highlighted below.  These aren’t even necessarily the coolest or most-interesting clocks, it’s just that I was overwhelmed with all of the choices.

1) Gift Certificate for a Proffesional Organizer – Help mom reduce her stress and get more organized.  Find a local professional organizer that can help out.

2) Tickets Are a Good Idea, Just Give Them a Choice – Let them pick the show they want to see.  And all you have to do is buy the gift certificate!

3) eBay Gift Certificate – Give Mom the joy of shopping on Mother’s Day!  She could find her favorite collectibles, or even start a new collection.

4) Movie Basket! – Pull together a last-minute gift basket to help Mom enjoy some movies & snacks.

5) Organic Flowers – OK, I was steering us all away from flowers.  But ORGANIC flowers, now that’s a nice feel-good twist!

Giving someone a Bag of Coal doesn’t have to be evil this year.  In fact, it’s Lesser Evil!!!

Bag O’ Coal – Santa’s Dozen

$17.99

Giftguy and Ms. Gift have both sampled this delicious snack, and we agree that it’s yummy! And, with no trans-fatty acids, no preservatives, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors or flavors, low fat, it truly is a lesser evil for snacking this holiday season.

What particularly intrigued me is that the Crate O’ Coal makes a great Corporate Holiday Gift! Definitely the way to go to cause some buzz in your clients’ offices this year.

Crate O’ Coal

$19.99

The Lesser Evil brand is fun to get into as well. And, they have lots of other great holiday gift ideas.  Here are a few:

Here is some more health/nutrition information straight from Lesser Evil’s FAQ page:

Q: What makes LesserEvil Kettle Corn a lesser evil?

A: Naturally wholegrain and gluten free, our gourmet popcorn is air-popped and cooked in a huge copper kettle with only the best all natural ingredients. Keeping things simple, we sweeten with real evaporated cane juice, and work with genuine ingredients like ground cinnamon, natural peanut butter, chocolate liquor, and real maple syrup (and sometimes just a hint of clarified butter). Just as important as what’s put in, is what’s left out… no trans-fatty acids, no preservatives, no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial colors or flavors. Finally, to make sure you can enjoy guilt-free, we make sure all of our flavors are kept low fat and with a very reasonable calorie count (only 120 grams per serving!).
